Back in December 2012 when I said I quit this blog and my
Artist in LA LA Land paper play shop, I didn't realize I'd miss everyone so much. I didn't know how many people cared about me and the art that I create. Your outpouring of kindness, encouragement and well-wishing warmed my heart which felt like it had been traveling through a blinding blizzard.

| The "Welcome to Redondo Beach" Sign where I moved to in January 2013. |
This new year and new month, I made some major changes like moving 15 miles south to Redondo Beach, California. It's still considered part of the greater Los Angeles area, but it's the South Bay area, not the West Side where I used to live. During my packing, and moving and now unpacking, I thought a lot about you, this blog, my art and what I wanted to do next. I also really enjoyed the process of cleaning and reducing my possessions and figuring out what was important and what could be let go of. It was reflective of what happening internally to me.

| My new art studio unpacked and ready for lots of paper play and new art projects. |
I'm not really sure what I'm going to do, or what new art projects I'll create, but I'm sure it will include lots of paper play. I also know that I'll be sharing these art projects and this paper play with you. My new place has so much wide open space. I love it this way. I think it has also given me some mental space to enjoy the openness of possibilities and to bask in the peace and quiet.

Arranging and decorating bedroom 2 of the new home. That's 2 times the space and 2 times the possibilites! |
