My Supernatural Animation Night of Art Events in Downtown Los Angeles

Moving to Redondo Beach has made downtown L.A. further away and going out to art events much less frequent for me.  But last weekend, I got dressed up and went out with a friend to a night of art event in downtown Los Angeles.  We saw the Supernatural show at the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) and the Ladies of Animation at a new gallery, GR Works.  As you can see from the photos below we had a good time, meeting some of the artists, running into friends and seeing some great art.

Artist Edwin Ushiro posing in front of the Supernatural sign, attendants'
responses to their beliefs in ghosts and wandering ghosts mingling with the crowd.

Artist Audrey Kawasaki signing autographs, the DJ and ghosts at JANM Supernatural art event.

My favorite artwork at the Ladies of Animation was paper craft, pop up art by Britteny Lee.
